The thought of a boudoir session can be scary. When talking to women about their session, I get asked all kinds of questions. So I wanted to compile a list of my 12 most frequently asked questions to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir session with me!
Do you share my images?
Our number one priority making sure our clients are comfortable, especially with boudoir! It can be a life changing experience, but that also makes it nerve wracking! Sometimes, you are learning how to love your body and you aren’t quite ready to share the images with the world, or sometimes these photos are specifically for your spouse aren’t for anyone else’s eyes. These are all great reasons for not sharing your photos, and it all depends on your personal preferences! If there are photos that I would like to share, I will ask your permission first, and only share what you are comfortable with!
Do you have lingerie and shoes I can wear?
YES! We like our clients to bring 2-3 outfits because you are buying styles and colors that you like. We also offer a wide range of lingerie options you can wear right in the studio! Our Client Closet has over 200 lingerie pieces in sizes XS-5XL, including plus sizes, and red bottom heels in sizes 5-11. We also have lace robes, long pearls and accessories to add to your outfits. Plus we have our BEAUTIFUL Amethyst Angel Wings that you can add on to your session.
Do you have payment plans?
YES! We offer financing options. There is a booking fee to reserve your session. The fee reserves your date and allows us to book the hair and makeup artist for your shoot, it also covers the consultation, photoshoot, access to the client closet and studio time. We only photograph one client a day so keeping your date is very important. The booking fee does not include any images or products. You will return one week later for your Order Session to view a gallery of about 100 FULLY RETOUCHED images. This is when you will choose your faves to take home!
Is hair and makeup included?
Yes!! Hair and makeup is included in all of our boudoir shoots! This includes airbrush makeup and eyelashes! I think it’s really important for you to feel pampered, and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! Our amazing all female team can help you complete your look, whether it’s a natural look or Full on glam! If you have any special make-up or hair needs, please email me before your session.
Do you Photoshop my images?
Yes. We have a master retoucher who edits your images. Don’t worry, she’s a woman too! We don’t do any “over the top” photoshopping because we still want you to look like YOU. You will look like the best, glammed up version of yourself that we wish we could acheive everyday if we had our own full on glam team like some celebrities!
Where should I buy outfits?
There are a few places to buy outfits from and it depends on what you are getting and the style of your shoot! Here is a list to choose from with different style and sizing! Victoria’s Secret, City Chic and Torrid. If you are looking for something specific that you can’t find, let me know and I might know where to get it!
What type of print products do you have?
We offer a variety of albums , Canvas prints, digital images and some specialty products. I absolutely love the feel of picking up a physical printed album. it’s so surreal to see yourself like that! A beautiful luxury album that I flip through myself every chance I get. I think I look at them more than he does. It’s a daily reminder that my self-image has completely changed after having my boudoir shoot.” –Alex, on her experience at her boudoir shoot!
Do you offer digitals?
All of our packages include some sort of printed product and most include the digital images, but there is also an A La Carte list that you can choose from. It just depends on how many images you pick out at your ordering session.
I’m freaking out! How can I calm my nerves?
Nerves are all part of the experience! I always say that it would probably be weird if you WEREN’T nervous. The nervousness in the beginning of your shoot make your moment of “WOW” seeing your photos for the first so much better!
How many outfits should I bring?
I like my clients to bring 2-3 outfits because you're purchasing styles and colors that you like. You still have access to our client closet of over 200 items.
Should I get to my shoot early?
You plan on getting to your shoot about 10 minutes early so we can talk about your outfits and colors and make a plan for hair and makeup!
Where is your studio located?
We are located in Lewisville, Texas just north of the DFW Airport. Before your photoshoot you will be send a detailed prep guide to help you get ready and directions to our studio.
